Our standard service offers holes from 6” to 24” at a code-compliant 42” depth.
There are several advantages to hiring us to handle your post hole digging needs. FIrst, we are incredibly reliable and treat every project as though it is our own home. Because turning a tracked machine on finished lawns WILL DAMAGE THE LAWN, we can provide ground protection as needed to protect finished lawns and driveways as much as necessary to minimize disturbance. We also handle submitting the required application to MISS DIG for you and can hand dig as required by law near marked utilities. Another advantage to hiring Mr. Post Hole is our use of the HALO digging system. The HALO system is an auger alignment system that uses sensors and an LED indicator to maintain an accurately drilled hole with accuracy up to +/- .25 degrees. A straight hole is essential for any project, especially pre-built fencing panels that offer almost no room for error with hole placement.
While drilling post holes is not an overly complicated process, there are many “tricks of the trade” we have learned over time that allow us to be extremely efficient and make sure your holes are drilled correctly. YOU WILL RUN INTO OBSTRUCTIONS WHEN DRILLING. Rocks, stones, construction debris, tree roots, all can stop an auger in its tracks. We even ran into a buried car once!.
