Tree Planting Service

For customers wanting to plant trees, I can save you a TON of time and help ensure survival of your new trees by augering the holes for you. I utilize a dedicated  tree auger bit that will drill a hole that is narrower at the bottom, sort of like a half moon bottom, or a bowl.  This may seem insignificant, however it allows the root ball to sit in the bottom of the hole straighter and promotes spreading out of the root system to avoid girdling.  A girdling root will wrap around the bottom of the tree trunk and literally choke out your tree, causing it to be stunted or die before it reaches maturity.. 

The use of a dedicated tree auger also helps eliminate glazing of the sides of the hole – another cause of girdling.  If you would like us to assist you in the  planting of your trees, we are happy to do so!
